- Account information: Email address, name, and password for caregivers. Seniors use device-bound sessions and may not have an email on file.
- Game data: Answers, scores, response times, and completion status for each daily round.
- Mood check-ins: Optional mood selections and notes you share with your partner.
- Device information: Device type, operating system, and push notification tokens for delivering daily reminders.
- Usage data: When you play, streak history, and feature usage to improve the product.
How we use your data
- To power the daily game experience, comparison views, and streaks.
- To generate trend data visible only to the caregiver in a partnership.
- To send daily reminders, missed-day alerts, and partner notifications you've opted into.
- To improve the product and fix bugs.
What we never do
- We never sell your data to anyone.
- We never show ads or use your data for advertising.
- We never track you across other websites or apps.
- We never share individual game data with third parties.
Who sees what
Within a partnership:
- Both partners see: comparison results (both answers side by side), mood check-ins, and streak data.
- Only the caregiver sees: the trend dashboard, missed-day alerts, and longitudinal pattern data.
- The senior never sees: any clinical language, performance scores, or data framed as a "test result."
Data security
Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices and regularly review our systems.
Data retention
We retain your game data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for product improvement.
Cookies on this website
This marketing website uses Google Analytics with Consent Mode v2. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them via the cookie banner. We use no advertising cookies. We use localStorage for cookie consent preference and theme settings — these are not transmitted to any server.
Children's privacy
Daily Howdy is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
